Mac the Comedy Computer is a clinically-depressed automaton and terrible comedian who hosts an utterly unhinged and totally deranged variety spectacular, where he vainly attempts to connect with you humans while presenting some of the best and oddest talent the world has on offer. Imagine if all of the internet was compressed down to less than an hour, crammed into a small room, and blasted into your face by a time-travelling talking laptop. You'll laugh, you'll smile, you'll literally can't even at it all! If that doesn't sound like a good night out, it's because Mac clearly doesn't understand human emotion.

Mac the Comedy Computer’s shows have been a stalwart of FRINGEWORLD since 2014, and continue to baffle and delight audiences in equal measure. Mac has hosted local, interstate, and international acts of all entertainment persuasions, and become a true home to the left-of-centre oddities. Combining variety performances with original bizarre videos segments and games, and hosted by a talking laptop who speaks entirely in a Stephen Hawking-esque monotone without punctuation; Mac the Comedy Computer is less of a show, and more of a literally can’t even experience.

Mac has now made the jump from live festival shows to the streaming world, where his variety show can be seen at Normal Place and for some other inexplicable reason, he’s got a YouTube channel where he posts random videos and reviews video games that he can’t play because he doesn’t have hands.
